Second Sessions A Success

Posted by KilkennyMusic.com on Nov 24th, 2006

Fair play to everyone there tonight, 1:25, just home for tea and toast after getting rid of all the gear. Around 40-50 people joined us in ID and you can’t say you were disappointed! Cracking set by everyone there

- mantra’s acoustic stuff is great and got a sound reaction
- paddy dunne stole the show with his karaoke acoustic antics, been a long time since i’ve seen that kind of performance, fair play to you man Smile
- nick campus and frank o’connor were simply great. instrumental/classical stylings which covered the likes of take 5, mr sandman, the theme to the odd couple and one or two others; definitely check these two out on the podcast!
- willy and natalie of kickstart ran out the show and even through in a fe extra songs for good measure such was the craic.

I haven’t yet been told what exactly is happening with the podcast since I’m (Ken) leaving this morning so whether the lads get it online or i’m roped into it in canada, God only knows. it will be along within a week or so anyway, in the mean time enjoy the latest one (yesterday) on www.soundsystempodcast.com.

Again, thanks a million to everyone there, hopefully we’ll get a good slice of all the members in for the xmas show Smile SPREAD THE WORD!!
