Pacifix For March 8th

Posted by KilkennyMusic.com on Feb 25th, 2007

GH Hough and JM Russellm, also known as Pacifix, will appear at the March 8th One Take Sessions.

The two college friends formed the band in 2002. From the beginning, Pacifix were a band who were only interesting in writing their own material. This led to the release in 2003 of the Pacifix debut album, ‘Little Bits and Pieces’ to be quickly followed one year later by ‘A Clear Conscience is a Soft Pillow’, their sophomore release (October 2004).

Both Hough and Russell are interested in old song values of lyrics that have meaning, themes which are interesting and engaging and a nice ‘air’ to a song (a melody to be exact).

Pacifix are currently working on their third LP, provisionally titled ‘Closed Forever’.
